I’ve never tried, nor do intend to try, used a cordless drill with a holesaw... let a lone to cut metal. You’d think someone with tools might know that that is not the tool for the job.

Also just noticed the masking tape sitting right in the engine bay... stupid is as stupid does.

That’s not fair- a good cordless drill runs a holesaw just fine. Looks like this one was A) not a good one/not enough juice, and more importantly B)was used badly

True. I just always have both corded and cordless available and would prefer not to drain the battery on the cordless for no reason. When working on projects I tend to keep a phillips bit (or other depending on hardware I’m using) in one, right size drill bit in another, and will use the corded for anything that will use a lot of power.

Yeah, the corded is definitely a good bet for anything horsepower intensive- and for something like this on my cordless units, I’d definitely be choosy- the Milwaukee fuel? Sure. The 50$ Porter Cable lowes beater? Nooooooo.
